Dedicate a tree

Help us to nurture and protect Scotland’s wonderful woodlands for generations to come

1. Choose where you’d like to dedicate a tree

2. Decide how much you’d like to donate to support your chosen project

Will help us plant trees

With Gift Aid we receive an extra 25p for every £1 you give us at no extra cost to you.

Gift Aid it

I would like the National Trust for Scotland to reclaim the tax on any eligible donations or membership subscriptions that I have already made in the last four years or will make until further notice. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations and membership subscriptions in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

3. Dedicate your tree and we’ll send you a certificate and information leaflet

Your dedication will help us to nurture and protect the woodland of your choice, however, we cannot match your dedication to a specific tree or tag individual trees with plaques. Instead, we will provide you with a personalised certificate.

Please note we aim that all postal certificates are with you within 5 working days.

4. Share your dedication through our virtual woodland

When you add a dedication to our virtual woodland, you’ll be able to share your gift and dedication with family and friends, as well as visit the virtual woodland again and again.

All dedications will be public and leaving a message in our virtual woodland is entirely optional. If you’d like to keep your dedication private, please continue to the next step.

To add your dedication, enter your name or your loved one's name into the Dedication name box. This will be the name you use to search our virtual woodlands for your dedication. Then simply add your message in the Dedication box.

5. Follow the progress of your woodland project through regular updates and videos from us
